LOOKING AT THE SEA, LONGING
A Chamber Opera for singer, actor, three players, video, and electronics. Composed and directed by Kiki Keren Huss, the experimental opera Looking at the Sea, Longing was performed in Tel Aviv in February/March 2020.
My brief was to create moving imagery that would generate for the audience a sense of time stopping.
Playing with Light
Because the projection also fell on the players and musicians, it was an opportunity to play with stage lighting as it mixed with projected imagery. I had the good fortune to work closely with Kiki as stage director, and with the lighting director Noa Elran.
