It’s always exciting to share time with friends and colleagues in the indie animation community, and the Ottawa International Animation Festival makes that possible… along with pumpkin carving, a big picnic in the park, and watching films till our eyes are bleary. The festival felt more subdued this year, which isn’t surprising given what’s going on in the world, but still there were gems worth celebrating. Here’s my round up for the OIAF 2024.
